Pittsburgh Skyline Tilt-shift Aerial

In this photo Pittsburgh looks like a miniature model, kind of like something out of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. This effect is called a "tilt-shift" effect which gets its name from a certain type of lens used in photography called a tilt-shift lens. To make this effect the top and bottom portion of the photo are blurred slightly to give the impression of a shallower depth of focus.
