The Polaris Dawn mission will carry four civilian astronauts further away from Earth that anyone has been since the Apollo moon missions over 50 years ago. At the point this photo was shot the rocket was approximately 700 miles from Pittsburgh and traveling at a speed close to 17,000 MPH!
